Parish Scholarship

The Parish Scholarship is directly linked to the mission of Saint Michael's College as a Catholic institution. The scholarship rewards those students who have been active in a Vermont Catholic parish.

Each parish in the Catholic Diocese of Burlington may select one of its parishioners (must be a first year applicant to the college) to receive a tuition scholarship of up to $11,000 over four years (up to $2,750 per year) at Saint Michael's College. The amount of the scholarship will be determined by financial need with no recipient receiving less than $1,500 per year. The scholarship must be applied to tuition only at Saint Michael's College. One-half will be credited at the beginning of each semester.

Nominations for the scholarship must be received by the Office of Financial Aid by February 1st. Nominations received after this date will only be considered on a funds-available basis.

Eligibility
Students must be enrolled full-time (12 credits) and maintain a GPA of 2.00 in order to maintain scholarship eligibility for each year.

How to Apply
To apply for the scholarship, see you local parish priest.  You may also call the Office of Financial Aid at 802.654.3243 for a nomination form.
