Testimonial:
No matter your interests or talents you will find something special here at Saint Mike's. It is a warm, nurturing place that enables you to become the person you have always dreamed of becoming. If you are unsure of just who that person might be, we offer you opportunities to discover yourself.
What do you like most about teaching/working at Saint Michael's College?
Teaching at Saint Michaels has given me the quality of life that I've always dreamed of. Very rarely does someone get to do something she so thoroughly enjoys and still get paid for it.
What do you like about Saint Michael's students?
Saint Michael's students are giving of their time and talents to help those less fortunate. These students truly make a difference on the local level and internationally. I've never seen this level of commitment in the schools that I've attended or in other places I've worked. This worldview is unusual in young people, but so many here hold the view that they can make a difference. It gives me hope for the future.
What is your favorite class to teach, and why?
I really enjoy teaching Media Law and Ethics each semester. I love the law; the study of it and the reality of it. It's important for me to show students how the media and the law affect their daily lives. More specifically, it's important to equip them to handle the ethical dilemmas they will face as working journalists.
