Testimonial:
What I like best about Saint Michaels students is their ability and willingness to challenge themselves.
What do you like most about teaching/working at Saint Michael's College?
What I like best about working at Saint Michaels College is how much students, faculty, and staff care about each other. I get to know many of our students quite well (in particular, our physics students) and, thus, create life-long bonds that continue well after graduation.
What is your favorite class to teach, and why?
Classical Mechanics (PY 215) is a very technical course to teach. The course, however, comes as close to poetry as physics will ever get. I truly delight in revealing the amazing unity and beauty of physics to my students through this course. I teach the course from a set of notes that I make available to students, which I hope to transform into a textbook in the near future.
