Testimonial: The professors at Saint Michael's make this college a very good place to be. Because of Saint Michael's size, students are able to interact with teachers in ways that might not be as possible in other places. For example, it is easy to discuss questions directly with a professor because small classes and the general availability of professors allow for relaxed discussions both inside and outside of the classroom.

What was a favorite class at Saint Michael's? This question presents a very tough choice because I've had many great classes. I think that the best ones so far have been Milton with Professor Clary and Author/Text - Plato with Professor Begley. The reading and writing for each were often the best parts of my day, and I continually use what I learned in both classes to understand material in all sorts of disciplines.

What do you like to do outside of the classroom? I enjoy skiing and playing music, and working on my garden when I am at home. I play the cornet and participate in a marching band called the Norwood Brass Firemen during the summer.

What would you say to prospective students considering Saint Michael's College? First, come and visit. Most professors are more than willing to let prospective students attend a class in order to see what it's like. Check out the college catalogs on the web; if there's something that interests you, get in touch with the respective department. Most importantly, talk to lots of people during your visit; though Vermont and Saint Michael's are beautiful, it is the people here that make the college as wonderful as it is.
