Program: History/Secondary Education/Medieval Studies

Hometown: Craftsbury Common, VT

Testimonial: Saint Michael's is big enough that you can get to know many different people. The professors are always willing to help, both in and out of the classroom.

What's it like to live in Burlington, Vermont? Burlington rocks! There is always something you can find that you'll like, especially the food, the stores, and the waterfront.

What was a favorite class at Saint Michael's? I enjoyed my medieval history classes with Professor Dameron. The courses were very informative and the subject has been a favorite of mine since I was little.

Have you had any internship or study abroad experiences? I am working with Professor Purcell from the history department on a summer research grant sponsored by the Provost Office at Saint Michael's.

What do you like to do outside of the classroom? I do many of the service events offered through the MOVE (Mobilization of Volunteers) office. I was elected class president for the 2009-2010 school year. I also do work study at the Saint Michael's Bookstore. On the side, I really enjoy playing wiffle ball out on the campus lawns.
