Program: Religious Studies

Hometown: Arlington, VA

Testimonial: I chose to attend Saint Michael's because I wanted to go to a liberal arts school that was in New England, was Catholic, and had close proximity to water as well as mountains. Saint Mike's fit the bill perfectly!

What's it like to live in Burlington, Vermont? Burlington is a great college town! I love Church Street and the waterfront. It is also nice to be in an area where there are lot of other students because it allows us to experience not only what our campus offers, but what UVM, Champlain and Middlebury have to offer as well.

What was a favorite class at Saint Michael's? I enjoyed The Church with Professor Patterson. The material we learned focused on many issues in the world, both inside and outside of the Catholic Church, and the Church's view on each.

Have you had any internship or study abroad experiences? I am planning to study abroad to Rome in the spring of 2010. I figured there was no better place for a religious studies major than the Vatican City!

What do you like to do outside of the classroom? I am a member of Founders Society (the student ambassador program) and am active in Campus Ministry. I also love to cook!
