Testimonial:
I decided to come to Saint Michael's because I had seen a handful of the pictures from the theater department and it looked like a great experience. There is the summer theater program,
The Saint Michael's Playhouse, that happens every year, bringing in professional actors from all over the country, which interested me as an aspiring actor.
What's it like to live in Burlington, Vermont?
Living in Burlington is wonderful because you get the best of all types of city living. You can walk down to Church Street to go to the shopping areas, or you can travel a few minutes to see fields of green and landscape. You can also take a drive through smaller neighborhoods. There is so much variety here in this area that one can always find something to do.
What was a favorite class at Saint Michael's?
My favorite class so far is Singing for the Actor. I love musical theater and taking this course allowed me to explore musical pieces and learn helpful techniques to use when performing.
What do you like to do outside of the classroom?
When I'm not in one of my classes, I can usually be found in the McCarthy theater. I love playing music and singing, as well as acting, sight-seeing, and exploring. I'm a member of Saint Michael's a capella group, The Sleepless Knights, and an active member of the college's theater program.
