Testimonial: Saint Michael's is different from other colleges because of the community. Your peers become more like your family, and you become very close to them over the course of four years.

What was a favorite class at Saint Michael's? My favorite class was Understandings of God with Professor Lair. We read about different religions and their views of a supreme being. We had several visitors come and speak about their faiths and our class had many interesting discussions about how we felt religion applied to our lives.

Have you had any internship or study abroad experiences? I have interned twice with the Vermont Space Grant Consortium - once at NASA Ames Research Center in Mountain View, California, and once at NASA Glenn Research Center in Cleveland, Ohio. During the summer of 2009 I will be interning at MyWebGrocer in Colchester.

What do you like to do outside of the classroom? I played rugby at Saint Mike's for three years. I also enjoy lifting weights and snowboarding; I recently started taking lessons in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

What would you say to prospective students considering Saint Michael's College? I would highly recommend that students considering Saint Michael's come for a tour if they haven't already. Take a walk around campus and see how happy students are to be here. Explore the dorms, because you will be making many good memories in them for the next four years. Go down to Church Street and see how much there is to do. If you do these things, like I did, you too will find yourself attending Saint Michael's.
