We have a long tradition of serving those who have served in our armed forces or plan on serving. The Colonel Donald G. Cook Award is one way our Alumni Association's Military Heritage Committee recognizes alumni who unselfishly give of themselves in service to others and is considered the College's highest honor for alumni.
Whether you are active duty, National Guard, reserve, veteran, military dependent or thinking military service might be for you through a Reserve Officer Training Program (ROTC), we are here to help you take the next step in your education.
Yellow Ribbon Program
We are an active participant, at the maximum level allowed, in the Post 9/11 G.I. Bill Yellow Ribbon Program. Participation in the Yellow Ribbon program at the maximum level insures that tuition and standard fees are covered in full for those students who qualify. For details on the Yellow Ribbon Program, who qualifies and how the program works, please visit the G.I. Bill web site.
We Support You
Your G.I. Bill benefits, the Yellow Ribbon Program and our military service scholarships make Saint Michael's a great base. In our living/learning community, you'll find veterans among service faculty, students and staff supportive of your transition. Our nationally recognized Wilderness Program and Fire and Rescue Squad are favorites of prior service and military-minded students.
You can get started by contacting our Certifying Official in the Registrar's Office, who can answer any questions you may have, including specific details on VA benefit eligibility.
