Why I Give...
Please Make Your Gift Now
There are many reasons why alumni support the Saint Michael's Fund. It may be a special professor you studied with, a classmate who became a lifelong friend, or a desire to provide current students with scholarship support. Please take a moment to share your story with your fellow alums on the Why I Give blog.

“I give because I’m grateful. Saint Mike’s made me a better person.”
Rick Coté ’89

The value of making meaningful contributions to deserving individuals and organizations is central to Saint Michael’s mission. For Rick, his annual gift to the Saint Michael’s Fund celebrates a life-long connection to the place that taught him the sense of fulfillment that comes from supporting others.

“I give to support Saint Michael's Liberal Arts program, which has been critical to my successful scientific career.”
Bill Troy ’65

Our alumni have a long, proud tradition of investing in the education of current students as a way of thanking Saint Michael’s for helping them succeed. Gifts to the Saint Michael’s Fund support a breadth of critical educational needs—from research opportunities for students to maintaining our beautiful campus to professional development programs.

I give to honor those whose gifts made my education possible.”
Emily Jenkins ’02

Contributions to the Fund also support scholarships that enable deserving students to enrich our unique and vibrant community. Emily expresses her gratitude for the support she received as a student by giving to the Saint Michael’s Fund Scholarship Designation.
