Family Giving at Saint Michael's College
The Saint Michael’s College Family Giving Program provides a venue for parents to stay connected by supporting the many elements of the Saint Michael’s Experience:
Help keep funds flexible to respond to immediate needs.
Ministering to and with students through prayer and service.
Increasing undergraduate research opportunities.
Welcoming students with ability, regardless of financial need.
Preparing students for the global marketplace.
Providing tools for healthy, balanced living.
Help Us Reach Our Goal
Between July 1, 2009 and June 30, 2010, we received approximately $286,000 from over 1,336 parents of alumni and current students. We are pleased to note that participation from parents of current students rose from 19% to 28% this past year! This year, we have already raised $384,000 from parents - exceeding our goal of $350,000. Please help us reach the $400,000 mark by June 30th and increase participation to 35%.
One of the ways we communicate with you is through our Phonathon Program. When you receive a call from a Saint Michael’s College student, please take the time to talk with them and feel free to share your experience, give updates and ask questions. You may make your gift to one of our student callers or complete it conveniently and securely
online. Your support is truly appreciated.
If you are the parent of a graduating senior, please consider making a gift in your student’s honor in order that we may acknowledge both the gift and their accomplishment in a card sent to their campus box.
And as always, we would love to hear from you! Please contact us at
smcfamilyprograms@smcvt.edu to share comments, suggestions or let us know how you would like to participate.
Thank you!
