Family Giving at Saint Michael's College
The Saint Michael’s College Family Giving Program provides a venue for parents to stay connected by supporting the many elements of the Saint Michael’s Experience:
- Technology upgrades for classrooms and residential living space
- Student scholarship/financial aid
- Student and faculty research
- Signature campus life programs such as MOVE,
Fire and Rescue and the Wilderness Program
- Fitness & Athletics
- Library acquisitions and improvements
It is this experience that is often cited by many of our students, alumni and family members as something they treasure and recognize as unique to Saint Michael’s College. To support these enriching programs, we ask our alumni, parents, family members and friends to consider making an annual gift to the Saint Michael’s Fund.
This year, we hope to raise 2 million dollars for The Saint Michael’s Fund, of which we have set a goal of contributing 17.5% or $350,000 through our Family Giving Program.

As of December 31, 2009, family giving has increased over this time last year:
- Gifts from Parents of Current Students up 38%!
- Gifts from Parents of Alumni up 46%!
Between July 1, 2009 and December 31, 2009, we received approximately $156,000 from over 700 parents of alumni and current students. We are well on our way to obtaining $350,000 in gifts and pledges to benefit current students here at Saint Michael's. You can help!
