Financing Your Education

We know the idea of financing a private college education can be a daunting one for students and their families.

At Saint Michael's College, we take the sacrifice that families make very seriously. While students and their families should assume the responsibility for financing the student's education, we assure you that we will work with you and your family to make Saint Michael's an affordable value for you.

Financial Aid Facts:

  • All admitted applicants to Saint Michael's are automatically considered for merit-based aid.

  • Merit-based aid is quite competitive. It is determined primarily upon academic criteria, but other factors such as geography and institutional priorities are considered.  The amount of merit aid ranges from $1,000 to, in a few cases, full tuition.

  • To be considered for need-based aid, including grants, loans, and work-study, applicants need to complete the FAFSA form.  We do not require the CSS Profile.
