Graduate Assistantship For 2012-2013

(This position is filled for 2011-2012 academic year.)

Applications for the Graduate Assistantship can be made through the Graduate Education Program Office in care of Karen Abbott, kabbott@smcvt.edu, 802.654.2649. Only matriculated Graduate Education students may apply.

The Graduate Assistant supports the Graduate Education Department. Responsibilities include assistance with projects such as the publication of the department newsletter and maintaining data for our Review Program of Approval by the State Department of Education.

Application Requirements

Other than above, the applicant must be available for all three consecutive terms: fall, spring, summer) and be available to work 12-15 hours per week minimum for 15 weeks per semester and the full summer term.

  • Hours: 12-15 hours per week for three terms.
  • Pay: $5,200 plus a tuition waiver of 18 credits.
  • Deadline: April 30, 2012 or until position is filled.
