English as a Second Language (ESL) Endorsement

Students with a Vermont teaching license seeking to add an ESL Endorsement need to take the following courses. GSL 502 English Grammar (4cr.)
plus 20 hours 7-12 Grammar Teaching

GSL 546 K-12 Literacy in ESOL (4cr.)
plus 20 hours K-6 Literacy Teaching

GSL 547 ESOL in Content Areas (4cr.)
plus 20 hours K-12 Teaching

GSL 612 Bilingualism/Multicultural Education (3cr.)

GSL 655 Language Learning and Assessment for Children (3cr.)
