Admission

Thank you for your interest in applying to the Graduate Programs in Education. To apply, please visit our Admission section to complete an online or downloadable application. Applicants must have a bachelor's degree (master's degree for CAGS) with a minimum of 3.0 GPA. The Graduate Programs in Education require the following for admission:

  • A completed Application for Graduate Admission
  • Official transcripts of all prior undergraduate and graduate work
  • Two references. These references must include an academic reference (a professor of a class that you have taken attesting to your ability to do work at the graduate level); and a reference from a person who has supervised you in your work with children or adolescents. (Please use the reference forms provided in the application)
  • A one-to-two page essay that answers the following question: Describe a significant experience that has influenced your life. Discuss how this experience shapes your thinking about yourself as an educator. Be specific and descriptive.
  • An interview (to be arranged after your admission file is complete)
  • A non-refundable application fee of $35.00.
