Saint Michael's College Graduate Program in Clinical Psychology is seeking nominations for the annual

Sam Dietzel Award for Mental Health Practice

In tribute to, and memory of, Sam Dietzel, Ph.D., a beloved teacher, clinical supervisor, mentor and colleague to several generations of clinical psychology graduate students and mental health counselors, the Graduate Program in Clinical Psychology at Saint Michael's College has created this award.

samdietzelThe award is to be given annually annually to a Vermont mental health practitioner whose work exemplifies an enduring commitment to intensive psychotherapy grounded in a deep respect and compassion for the growth potential and intrinsic worth of every human being.

Nominations are sought annually. Deadline for nominations is January 1.

A generous donation from Louise Dietzel, M.A., also a member of our graduate faculty, has made possible the establishment of this award. Donations are welcome to the Sam Dietzel Award Fund that has been established through the office of the Vice-President of Institutional Advancement at Saint Michael's College.
