Admission

Thank you for your interest in applying to the Graduate Program in Administration and Management. To apply, please visit our Graduate Admission section to complete an online or downloadable application.

The Graduate Programs in Administration and Management require the following prerequistes for admission:

  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited American college or university, or its foreign university equivalent, with a minimum 2.8 cumulative grade point average (GPA). 
  • Full-time relevant work experience of usually three years. In exceptional circumstances and with the approval of the program director, an applicant may submit scores from the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) or the Graduate Record Examination Test (GRE) in lieu of work experience.

The Graduate Programs in Administration and Management require the following for admission:

  • A completed Application for Graduate Admission;
  • Official transcripts of all prior undergraduate and graduate work;
  • Two references (Please use the Reference Forms provided in the application);
  • A one page essay describing your education and career background and reasons for desiring a degree or certificate in the Graduate Administration and Management Programs. The essay should also include four to seven personal, specific goals that will be achieved as a result of matriculation in the program.
  • Applicants for whom English is not a native language must submit an official TOEFL report. We also accept IELTS, MELAB, CAE, CPE, or APIEL. For details on applying as an international student, please see the Graduate Admission page.

Application for admission to Saint Michael’s is not complete until all above information is received in the Graduate Admission Office, Saint Michael's College, Box 286, One Winooski Park, Colchester, VT 05439, along with a non-refundable application fee of $35.00. An admission interview is optional.
You will be informed of the admission decision by letter from the program director. An admission interview is optional.
