Mission Statement
The Department of Information Technology is committed to creating a robust technology environment for the students, faculty, and staff of Saint Michael’s College. We support the mission and goals of the College by providing tools and services for our campus constituents: a reliable, secure, and fast campus network; support for the appropriate integration of technology into teaching and research; and the technology support for administrative operations of the College.


Who We Are
The scope of IT at Saint Michaels College includes administrative and academic software applications; network, cable television and telecommunication services; helpdesk services; instructional technology; web support; and media resources. We work closely with other campus constituents, advocating for the thoughtful and effective use of technology on campus and helping faculty, staff and students to use the resources we provide.  Our department has a strong commitment to quality service, continuous improvement and innovation.

  • Data Center provides management and support of the College network servers, services and infrastructure, telecommunications, cable TV and satellite services on campus.
  • Enterprise Applications provides support for Colleague (Datatel), Voyager, and a variety of other major applications that support the college’s business areas.
  • IT Procurement and Compliance manages the procurement of technology solutions and allocates resources to address accountability, compliance and efficiency issues. 
  • Technology Learning Center (TLC) provides support to help faculty enhance their teaching and research with technology; as well as, provides helpdesk and desktop support for the campus community.
