Books from the general collection, photocopies, microforms, AV.

Will not Lend
Books cataloged within the past three months, certain art books, Reference, Special Collection, Current or Bound Periodicals, Theses (will lend if we have two copies).

Fees
$15.00 IFM, $20 NON-IFM. Don't charge In-State, NELINET (@N), LVIS, and Reciprocal Signers.

Other
If a book is not returned, is lost, or is damaged, we charge a $75 minimum replacement fee

Loan Period
28 days for books; 21 days for microforms and AV (some materials may be non-circulating).

Renewal
Request prior to due date - if not needed by an SMC patron, 28 days for books, no renewals for microforms or AV.

Overdue
Overdue notices are automatically generated by our Circulation System.

Recall
Recalled items must be returned within one week.

General
All returnables are shipped with a copy of the request form and a return mailing label; for photocopies a copy of the request is attached.
