Michele McCaffrey My passions are anything Italian, travel, spending time at the ocean, dogs, writing letters, music of just about all kinds but especially folk and bluegrass. I own hundreds of LPs, cassettes, and even CD’s now! In addition to my library years I have worked as a linguist for the federal government and I teach and tutor Italian. Currently I am reading Jill Ker Conway's The Road from Coorain about Conway's experences as first woman president of Smith College. I have just begun Rise and Shine, a novel by Anna Quindlan. Coming up are Donna Leon's murder mystery set in Venice, Through A Glass, Darkly and Elmore Leonard's book Cuba Libre. At the end of May I will commune with the ocean as I ponder this quote "Looking at the Ocean is the Sacramentalization of the Ordinary." Have a happy summer!! |
