Elizabeth Scott In addition to serving as the archivist for both Saint Michael's College and the Society of Saint Edmund, I am responsible for the college's Special Collections. I am also the Liaison for Religious Studies; I am a Notary Public; and I enjoy taking minutes for all the meetings I attend. Before coming to Saint Michael's in 2001, I worked in libraries at universities in SD, OR, and KY. The call of family and mountains proved too strong for my wandering nature though, so I moved to the land of my ancestors. I like it. Whenever I get the chance, I ride my bike to work. I am a volunteer "chef" for the VT Campaign to End Childhood Hunger, and I spend a lot of time thinking about food--where it comes from, who is growing it, and how to cook all those rutabagas my garden produced last summer. I like music and books too. Of late I have been listening to Jennie Lewis, Eilen Jewell, and Wilco (and known associates). I like to browse my public library for fiction. As for nonfiction--I usually only read it if its food related.
