Michele Shea The majority of my working life has been spent employed by Saint Michael’s College for over twenty years in my favorite place – the library. In my other earlier life I practiced psychiatric nursing at Mount Sinai Hospital as well as in the USAF, and general medical-surgical nursing in California before winding up my nursing career with two years as evening charge nurse in ICU in a Denver hospital. Interests include: reading, computing and technology (theory and practice with Mac and Windows), ebooks, music, film, visiting my far flung family, and garment sewing. Current reading: T.E. Lawrence’s Seven Pillars of Wisdom, John Buchan’s Prestor John, Alan Furst’s Night Soldiers, Eoin Colfer’s Artemis Fowl : the lost Colony. Waiting in line are too many to count, including Charles Portis’s Gringos : a novel, the rest of Alan Furst, light reading by M.C. Beaton (love Hamish MacBeth and Agatha Raisin), and more by Neil Gaiman, and several non-fiction works about T.E. Lawrence.
