Proxy Access
You can access most of the library's online resources from off campus using your MikeNet account. Click on the database or journal you would like to use and you will be prompted for your MikeNet username and password. You will then be able to use almost any resource on the library website for up to an hour, at which point you may be prompted to log in again.
If you would like to go ahead and log in now, go to Log in.
A couple of things to note:
- Some firewalls, particularly in institutional networks, have high security settings that prevent use of proxy access. If you get a firewall error message, you can try the password access method below or talk to your system administrator about changing firewall settings.
- A few specialized databases have unusual configurations that will not allow proxy access, including Arden Shakepeare and SciFinder. These can only be used on campus.
Password AccessIf you have problems using proxy access you may access some library databases from off-campus using a special username and password. Click here and log in with your Mikenet username and password to access database passwords.
