eBooks owned by Saint Michael's College Library are available through the Library Catalog or can be accessed directly through the following links: 

ACLS Humanities E-Book Collection - from American Council of Learned Societies (ACLS).  Over 1,500 books in the humanities.  Click here for title list.

Google Book Search - enter the keyword or phrase into the Google Book Search box.  Finds books whose contents match your search terms. Click on a book title and see basic inforomation about the book.  If the book is out of copyright, or the publisher has given permission, users see a preview of the book, and in some cases the entire text.  If it's in the public domain, it is possible to download a PDF copy for free.  About Google Book Search.

NetLibrary - Access to over 8280 full text eBooks, including more than 4880 copyrighted books and 3400 public domain titles.  NOTE:  Users create a unique username and password during first time on-campus logon.  Following the initial on-campus logon, users can access netLibrary on or off campus.  Help with netLibrary.
