- The Academy of American Poets

The largest organization in the country dedicated specifically to the art of poetry, the Academy sponsors programs nationally. These include National Poetry Month; the most important collection of awards for poetry in the United States; a national series of public readings and residencies; and other programs that provide essential support to American poets, poetry publishers, and readers of poetry.
