The Winooski Youth Connection is a program that allows participants all the freedom to actually design their own activities. Working in conjunction with the Winooski School System (located just up the road from Saint Mike's), students get to pick which day their program will run (Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday). You can also pick what your program will be about, and the grade level you want your participants to be (between K-5).
Possible after-school programs could include soccer, playing a musical instrument, arts and crafts, chess, active games, cooking or painting. This is a great program for people who love working with kids and want some experience with planning fun activities.
