Centeredness

The Catholic tradition is replete with contemplative and meditation practices that support a sense of who you truly are.  There are also various Buddhist and secular paths to meditation as well.  When you live your life (and do your school work) from a state of grace, miracles can happen.  Check it out.

The Chapel of St. Michael the Archangel is open every day from early morning until late evening. Come, sit in a peaceful, sacred space and take a breath. There are a variety of opportunities for contemplation and retreats through our Office of Edmundite Campus Ministry. Visit this website for daily meditations with Richard Rohr, ofm: https://cac.org/category/daily-meditations/

Toni Messuri is available to offer meditation practice with students on an individual basis to help manage stress and anxiety. The Wellness Center also offers a variety of opportunities throughout the year. Kendra Smith from Human Resources also offers group meditation sessions, welcoming all students, staff, and faculty, in Dion Student Center Tuesdays from 4:15 – 5:15pm and Thursdays from 12-1pm.
