With the help of our alumni and parent volunteers, the Office of Alumni and Family Relations plans between 50-60 events over the course of the year, including regional and on campus events. Oct. 9 Red Sneakers for Oakley Day. Join us from wherever you are as we raise awareness of life-
threatening food allergies by wearing red sneakers, red socks or red shoelaces in honor of
Oakley Debbs. Oakley, the son of alumnus Bobby Debbs '87, died in November 2016 from
anaphylaxis resulting from an allergic reaction to nuts. There will be on campus programming
dedicated to educating our community on food allergies, including information on epi pen
access for rescue workers, and a demonstration on how to use epi pen injectors and more.

Nov. 2 Wiggly Bridge Distillery Tour and Tasting. 6-8 p.m. 441 US Route 1, York, Maine.
Wiggly Bridge is an award-winning family-owned distillery making hand crafted small batch spirits including white whisky, small barrel Bourbon, rum, barrel aged rum, vodka and gin.

Nov. 10 10th Annual Career Symposium sponsored by the Alumni Board of Directors.
Our largest on-campus career exploration event of the year. Nearly 50 alumni from around the country offer career advice on 12 different industry panels ranging from biotech and law,
to marketing and nonprofit. Keynote by Amanda Pelley '09, director of sales for ZeroTurnAround. Following the keynote and industry panels there is a networking reception with food
provided by Bluebird Barbecue.
Nov. 11 Veteran's Day Military Community Gallery and Luncheon sponsored by the Student Veterans Association and the Office of Military Community Services.
