Dan French, School Leadership Program coordinator at Saint Michael’s, was hired this summer as a consultant for the Southwest Vermont Supervisory Union Act 46 Study Committee. Bennington Banner reporter Derek Carson reported on the appointment, noting, “French was the superintendent of the Bennington-Rutland Supervisory Union for nine years until July of last year, when he left that position to take a position at St. Michael's College. He also acted as the BRSU's Act 46 consultant, and has been a merger consultant or project manager for a merger for a number of districts. He met with the committee … and discussed their path forward.”
