Ecosystem biogeochemistry, Forest soils, Soil ecology and microbial processes

I study the effects of nutrient pollution and climate change on how ecosystems process key nutrients. Most of my research focuses on soil carbon, nitrogen, and phosphorus cycling in forests of the Northeastern U.S.
