Admission Counselor

What do you enjoy most about being an admission counselor?

I love that this job allows me to meet students and families from all walks of life and connect them to a place they can potentially call home for the next four years. I remember how excited and nervous I was during my college search and how much my college experience still means to me. Finding your home away from home is an incredible feeling, and I’m lucky enough to have a job that allows me to help others find that too!

Best tip for students coming for a campus visit?

Be yourself! The only way to know if a school is the right fit for you is to authentically be yourself when you visit and speak with your Admission Counselor. It can be scary, but we really want to get to know the real you! Also, don’t be afraid to walk around and explore campus yourself after your tour. Really try to picture what your four years here could look like.
