Immunization Information

Requirements

All students are required to have the following immunizations by Vermont law:

  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) - a completed  series of two injections.
  • Tetanus (Td or TdAP) - a booster within the past ten years, preferably Tdap.
  • Hepatitis B - a completed series of three injections.
  • Bacterial Meningitis - one vaccine for all students residing on campus.
  • Varicella - a completed series of two injections if no history of chicken pox.

Exemptions may be granted only for medical, religious or ethical reasons.

Recommendations

  • Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) - a completed series for all women.
  • Flu - yearly vaccine available at Student Health Services (see below). For more information about flu, visit the CDC influenza website.

Student, Faculty & Staff Flu Shots - available this fall

Student Health Services will again be offering flu shots to our students and staff this October. This year’s shot is a combination of H1N1 and seasonal flu vaccines. We urge all to come in and get immunized! No need to make an appointment – just come on by!

Monday through Friday, starting October 12th, 2010 from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm

Cost:
There is a nominal charge ($10.00) for the vaccine.
