Ambassador Housing

The Ambassador Housing Program gives American students an opportunity to live with international students currently enrolled in the Applied Linguistics Department (ALD).

The goals of the program are to

  • Allow students from different cultures to establish friendships
  • Provide social and educational programming about cultural differences and similarities
  • enhance the living and learning community at large by encouraging students to appreciate differences and expand their world view

40 American students of all class years participate with approximately 50 international students, depending on the time of year. Housing options are four and eight person suites within Canterbury, Cashman or Pontigny Halls; two 4-person apartments located on our north campus; as well as some double rooms offered within our first year residence halls.
