Theme Houses provide resident living for Sophomore, Junior, and Senior students. All Themes are suite style housing located in Pontigny Hall. Students who live in the Theme Houses participate in a selection process that involves faculty, students, and staff who evaluate each application on the basis of its contribution to the campus and greater community.
During the past two academic years, we have not had any Theme housing as we are reviewing the process and program. We hope to have Themes in place for future years.
Past Theme houses had diverse themes and causes. A few examples:
Sexual Harassment and Rape Prevention (SHARP)
Fire and Rescue Women
Fire and Rescue Men
Men and Masculinity (M+M House)
Foundation for Excellent Schools (FES)
Cancer Awareness
Friends of the Women's Center
Make a Wish
Committee On Temporary Shelter (COTS)
Adopt-A-Family
A-Team (Alcohol Awareness)
Giving Athletics More Excitement (GAME)
UKNIGHT (Integration)
