The Office of Career Development offers the opportunity for you to practice your interviewing skills in a setting that offers immediate feedback and assistance in presenting your skills in the best possible way. This is one of the most important steps you can take in your job search process. Many employers tell us that they can tell which students have attended Interviewing Skills workshops and have practiced those skills in Practice Interview sessions.
Most sessions are set up to begin with an interview situation tailored to your job choice, and end with constructive ideas and the opportunity for you to ask any questions about the interview process. Our alumni and staff serve as "mock interviewers" two or three times a semester.
You must sign up for these interview sessions in advance, and must provide us with a resumé at the time you sign up.
