The SRC maintains two current binders containing off-campus part-time job opportunities in the local area. These binders are updated frequently as local employers submit job postings. Just visit us and ask at the main office to see the part-time job listings.
In addition, emails are sent to all students regarding part-time job opportunities throughout the semester. Occasionally, there are recruiters on campus - usually at a table in Alliot Lobby - offering multiple positions at the same organization.
Downtown Burlington and local malls offer a host of part-time work opportunities in retail and restaurant establishments. Administrative positions can also be found in business offices. There is public transportation by bus to these areas. Should you have your own transportation, there is a wider variety of placements, including Vermont Teddy Bear Company (Shelburne, VT) and Smugglers’ Notch Resort (Smugglers’ Notch, VT) seasonal positions.
If you have been awarded an on-campus work-study position as part of your financial aid package, please contact the Office of New Student Aid & Scholarships for your placement. For other part-time work on campus, check with the Human Resources Office to find out about available positions.
