Alumni Connection

As a Saint Michael's College Alumnus you are eligible to participate in the wide variety of outdoor programs offered through the Wilderness Program Office. The Wilderness Program offers experiences ranging from day hikes in the Green Mountains to extended expeditions to Kenya, East Africa. In addition to trips we offer training in rock climbing, ice climbing, mountaineering, wilderness medicine, outdoor leadership, whitewater kayaking and sea kayaking. Our student and staff instructors are trained to the highest of industry standards and we offer "state of the sport" equipment for all programs.

Because Alumni may not be able to travel to Vermont for a hike or are unable to come up for scheduled programs we are able to develop custom programs a group of alumni and friends. This is a great way to re-connect with your old friends and classmates. Also, check out the events Alumni Clubs are doing all over the country. Below is an example of how you can use the Saint Michael's College Wilderness Program as a vacation opportunity.

Sample Trip

5 grads from the class of 1985 came back for a 3-day kayak paddle on Lake Champlain. They had a blast, learned new paddling skills, accessed a unique Vermont resource and saw how Saint Michael's College has changed.
