Program Registration and Cancellation Policy
Registration for all programs can be done through the Wilderness Program Office in room 204 on the second floor of Alliot Hall or on Monday - Wednesday from 11:30 am - 1:00 pm at the exit of the Green Mountain Dining Hall. The office hours are Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm. Program size is limited and is filled on a first come first serve basis and we ask that you pay in full upon registration. If for some reason you need to withdraw from a program you must do so at least seven days in advance to receive a full refund.
Course Fees
Course Fees usually paid by cash, Knight Card or check made payable to SMC Wilderness Programs. Most programs are subsidized by the SMC Wilderness Programs, and the additional fees help to cover: food, fuel, transportation, equipment maintenance, equipment rental and purchase, guide fees and land use permits. Course fees are kept as low as possible to maintain a break even budget and still provide safe, quality wilderness experiences. Fees are adjusted to the specific needs of each program.
Packing Lists
For your convenience, the Wilderness Programs Web site has compiled comprehensive packing lists for our programs. The majority of the items listed are essential to having a pleasant experience during our programs; however, keep in mind that many of them can be obtained through the Wilderness Programs Outfitter.
