| In 1904, Saint Michael's
College was founded by a small order of priests called the Society of
Saint Edmund, and to this day the College continues the Catholic traditions
instilled by its founders. Saint Michael's Chapel of Saint Michael the
Archangel is the largest Catholic church in Vermont, holding approximately
1,000 people. Masses are held daily. On Sundays during the school year,
Mass is held at 11:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m., the latter being very popular
among Saint Michael's students. Our Liturgical Choir and Sacred Dance
Ensemble are open to all students.
