The Women's Center

The Center for Women and Gender promotes awareness of women’s and gender equity issues by educating students, faculty and staff and supports individuals by providing them with resources and referrals.

In service to the Saint Michael's community, the Center for Women and Gender:

  • Provides a visible, safe and inclusive community meeting space
  • Collaborates with various campus and community organizations to carry out a variety of educational and social programs on women’s and gender equity issues
  • Works closely with our campus partners to provide quality information, resources and referrals
  • Supports and nurtures women leaders on campus
  • Provides students with a network and support system
  • Values and celebrates women’s achievements

We are located across the parking lot from the Ross Sports Center.  Our hours of operation are Monday - Wednesday 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., Thursday 9:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. and Friday 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Call us at 802.654.2667, or e-mail: womenscenter@smcvt.edu.
