Favorite Restaurant Recommendation for Your Campus Visit
Wherever you go, make sure you swing by Ben & Jerry’s afterwards for a sweet treat. The Church Street location is convenient to tons of restaurants and it’s fun to stroll with a scoop. My favorite flavor is Milk & Cookies.

Favorite Campus Tradition
Saint Michael’s College has an annual Community Service Day where the community comes together to perform service on campus and with several community partners. Last year I was on a crew that spread compost and mulch around newly planted trees in our Natural Area.

Favorite Way to Get Involved on Campus
If I were a student at Saint Michael’s College I’d spend all my time at The Farm. Getting my hands dirty with weeding, planting, and harvesting would provide great stress-relief; I would have trouble not eating all the fresh produce!

What I love Most About Vermont
I love the fall foliage, the maple syrup, Cabot cheese and cider donuts. Plus, everyone is super friendly!

What being a Regional Admission Rep means to me
Being Regional gives me the opportunity to connect with prospective students and their families on a more personal level. I enjoy being able to meet up with a student at their convenience, for an interview, application help, or just to chat about St. Mike’s.

Discuss a Moment When You Have Done Well or Done Good
As a Regional, I’ve been able to get involved more with my local organizations, PCACAC (Potomac & Chesapeake Association for College Admission Counseling) & MARCA (Mid-Atlantic Regional Counselor Association). I enjoy volunteering as much as possible; with MARCA we often assist schools with essay workshops, admission panels, case study programs or mock interview days. It’s wonderful to help students feel more relaxed and confident about the college admission process.
