Graduate Assistantship

Looking to get more involved in the Clinical-Counseling Psychology Program and receive financial assistance as well? The Graduate Assistantship is an excellent opportunity for students who have a genuine interest in the goals of the Program and want to assist in the administration of the Program.

The Graduate Assistantship for the Clinical-Counseling Psychology Program is an administrative position that spans from the fall semester of 2024 to the end of the spring semester of 2025. While this is not a teaching position, the Graduate Assistant may have the opportunity to guest lecture under the supervision of faculty.

Who is eligible?

If you are interested in the Graduate Assistantship, you must be an accepted, first year, full-time student in the Clinical-Counseling Psychology Program at Saint Michael’s College.

What are the hours?

15 hours per week for one academic year. You will be paid an hourly rate and are also eligible for 18 graduate credits of tuition remission.

When is the deadline?

Review of applications for the assistantship will begin April 1. Interested students should apply for the assistantship as soon as they submit their program application materials. Review of assistantship applications may continue until the position is filled.
