Off Campus and Mobile Access

Proxy Access

You can access most of the library's online resources from off campus using your MikeNet account.  Click on the database, ebook, or journal you would like to use and you will be prompted for your MikeNet username and password.  You will then be able to use almost any resource on the library website for up to an hour, at which point you may be prompted to log in again.

A couple of things to note:

  • Using Network Connect or Pulse Secure to access files from the O: or Z: drive when off-campus prevents access to library databases.  Log off of Network Connect or Pulse Secure to access library databases.
  • Some firewalls, particularly in institutional networks, have high security settings that prevent use of proxy access.  If you get a firewall error message, you can talk to your system administrator about changing firewall settings.

Mobile Site

If you are searching the library using a smart phone or other mobile device, you can find our mobile site at  The library mobile site is also available on the college's KnightSpace app.

If you have problems using library online resources from off campus you can call the Research Assistance Desk at 802.654.2405 or email for help. 

If you have forgotten your MikeNet password you can reset it using the Password Reset tool.  If there is a problem with your MikeNet account you may need to contact Information Technology at 802.654.2020.
