One Interesting Thing About Me: I have a book buying habit. My roommates call my room "The Library" because I have books everywhere!

My Best Memory From My First Year At SMC: My favorite memory from my freshman year at SMC would probably be when me and my group of friends went to Church Street for the first time. I had been a few times, but it was fun to go to a bunch of places I now frequent (Hong's Dumplings, El Gato, etc) and it really solidified with me that I would fit in in the college environment. Having a group of friends that I spent time with and did things on/off campus during my first semester really eased my transition into college and living on a college campus.

One Thing I Wish I Knew Before I Moved In My First Year: I would say the ease of approaching your professors. I had always assumed college was this completely individual thing where you went, took your classes, and did your homework by yourself. I remember walking through JeanMarie and I passed my then-advisor's office (who I later had classes with) and a simple hello and conversation actually changed my Saint Mikes career! I think one of the many wonderful things about SMC is that academically, there's a wonderful community where you can become friends with not only your own professors, but also professors that you may just happen to see around campus often!
