One Interesting Thing About Me: I started at Saint Mike's with many different interests than I have now. What you like to do now will most likely change so be open to new opportunities and try anything you have a slight interest in; that is how I got involved with just about everything and everyone here on campus.
My Best Memory From My First Year At SMC: My favorite memory from my first year is when I joined the Ultimate Frisbee team. I had heard a little about it and the moment I showed up everyone was super inclusive and excited. They are a fun crowd and are super willing to show you the ropes if you have no idea how to play. They taught me a lot when I started. I showed up and instantly felt like I had a close group of friends even though I didn't even know most of their names yet. Try new things, have fun and take it all in.
One Thing I Wish I Knew Before I Moved In My First Year: Take advantage of the Bus Lines that run through the area. Yes, they take a little while but they are FREE and that means a lot to college students. Something else I would say is to bring Tupperware. You can use it for just about anything from sneaking some snacks from Alliot to eating ramen noodles at 2 am or even just to hold something you don't want to get wet or dirty. Tupperware is a wise investment and it doesn't even have to be the expensive kind- just enough to work. Ooooh and make sure its microwave safe that would be a pretty bad way to ruin those ramen.
