DESCRIPTION:MediSun will present a lecture on the history of Reggae and Rastafari. The lecture and conversation to follow will provide a foundational understanding of how equity and justice show up in the lived experiences of Jamaican – and Caribbean- people. He explains how reggae music and performance are an expression of the struggles of ‘the people’ over generations.
