DESCRIPTION:The Sutherland Lecture Series is Proud to present the Hon. Robert L. Santos\, Former Director of the U.S. Census Bureau. Director Santos’s talk is titled “Telling Our Stories: How culture and values made me a better statistician and a better leader.” \nDirector Santos\, who served as the 26th director of the Census Bureau from 2022 to 2025\, has more than 45 years of experience in leadership\, sampling and survey operations\, qualitative and quantitative research\, and program evolution. At the Census Bureau\, he emphasized “inclusivity and outreach to overlooked communities.” He focuses on helping people\, communities and organizations.
