If so\, please join us for this online information session to learn more about our Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) 4+1 program. Our competitively-priced program is open to students from any major; no prior education coursework required. The MAT leads to licensure in art (PK-12)\, elementary (K-6)\, elementary + early childhood (PK-6)\, middle (5-9)\, secondary (7-12)\, or special education. Already pursuing teacher licensure as an undergraduate? Earn a master’s degree and additional endorsement in special education or multilingual learners through the MAT. SMC juniors and seniors can take up to three graduate courses as part of their undergraduate program at no additional cost. Priority application deadline for our next one-year cohort is March 1.
