Student Employment

As part of the Life After College Strategic Plan initiative, the College implemented an On-Campus Student Employment Program.  The goal of this program is to provide students with the opportunity to learn and develop valuable career-related skills while working on-campus.  The program provides progressive responsibilities within many departments; in some cases providing supervisory skills.  Built into the program are a performance evaluation process, professional development, career exploration and skills-based programs that help to better prepare students for life after college.

Benefits of Working on Campus:

  • Gain Experience in a Professional Environment
  • Opportunity to Apply Classroom Learning
  • Gain Transferable Skills
  • Explore Interests
  • Convenient & Accessible Way to Earn Money

Skills Gained through Student Employment that Transfer to Post Graduate Experiences:

  • Critical Thinking/Problem Solving
  • Oral and Written Communication
  • Teamwork/Collaboration
  • Digital Technology
  • Leadership
  • Global/Intercultural Fluency
