During every academic year, Saint Michael's students earn fellowships for graduate study, research, and teaching both in the U.S. and abroad. While competition for these opportunities is intense, a liberal arts education at Saint Michael's prepares students to apply successfully for national fellowships, scholarships and grants.
Students should begin to explore opportunities early and should consult with their faculty advisors and the individual fellowship coordinators in order to determine which grants might fit their academic plans. Some of the fellowships provide financial support for the final years of undergraduate study as well as graduate school.
Political-Science Professor Patricia Siplon works with all of the fellowship coordinators to oversee the College's efforts; she is also available to consult with students about particular programs (call 802-654-2766).
See the pages below for details about each program and contact information for its liaison at Saint Michael's.
